Day 05 - Favorite love story in a film
This was next to impossible... until I raided some of my other picks. Now, I'm sure there are love stories that I have enjoyed more that don't jump to mind right away because they were buried in some non-romance movie or something, but they're not coming to mind.
Somewhat ashamedly, my pick is PS I Love You. I know, I know... but look, if I am willing to completely disregard my near-complete disdain for Hilary Swank, it can't be that bad, right? And, AND, it not only features a love story between her and the utterly adorable Gerard Butler, but, BUT, also between her and JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN. And yes, that's two picks in a row that kind of feature him, but this one has HIS ASS! So, OK, maybe that's two love stories, but she can only fall for JDM because she knows that GB loved her SO MUCH that he would want her to be happy and with JDM.
I am done preemptively defending my selection now, and I am going back to hating love stories.
