So, yeah, I'm pretty epically disappointed at the Jets loss, but not really surprised. Whatever, I can officially stop caring about football until it's time to draft next year's fantasy team(s). Plus it's time to start thinking about more important things like... um... yeah, really, I've got nothing.
So, here's some more movies I've watched.
16. Kidulthood- It's like Kids, only British- gritty, hard-hitting, and it makes you weep for the future. ****
17. Friday the 13th (2009)- It wasn't terrible, but nothing to write home about.***
18. Gamer- The action stuff was awesome, the other sim stuff was hilariously awful, and Gerard Butler was Gerard Butler. Michael C. Hall was over-the-top cheesy, but it was a perfect fit for the rest of the movie. Also: Milo Ventimiglia in latex. ****
19. The Hurt Locker- This flick about bomb disposal techs in Iraq is SO GOOD. One of my favorite modern war movies (see also: Stop-Loss, Black Hawk Down). *****
20. Outsourced- Guy gets sent to India to train his replacement, and finds culture and love and stuff. I was surprised at how cute and funny it was, but in the good way, not like the way I usually hate. ****
21. The Final Destination- It's just like all the other ones, really, but with fewer cool people, and shorter. 82 minutes? Really? You couldn't eke out another 8 minutes? The credits were kind of the best part, to be honest. ***
22. Neverwas- Aaron Eckhart takes a job at a mental institution and begins to unravel the truth about his former-patient father, author of a famous fantasy children's book. It's a little odd, and not really what I thought it was going to be (either from Netflix Instant, which had it under thrillers, or from the tone of the movie early on), but it was good. ****
