PSA from the Twilight Zone
While watching the episode "The Jungle" in my The Twilight Zone Complete Definitive Collection (Season 3, Disc 2), I came across a vintage commercial, circa 1961. Despite the seriousness of the message, I couldn't help laughing at this:
"Remember, the mentally ill need your help, not your criticism."
Yes. Yes, indeed.
I couldn't agree more with the intent of this, and of course it still holds true today...but something about the delivery of this particular advice doesn't quite work.
