All in all it was a great trip. I was surprised at my second time around skiing ability and actually sort of got to ski with the boys... if you count them zig zagging around me while I attempt to get down the mountain. David was a sweetheart and went down the green runs with me. hacked is quite the skier and spent the day all over the mountain on the hardest runs.
We also took time out to go to The Springs Resort to soak in the pools there. I am not one for getting wet and strixkat and I were skeptical. However, the place turned out to be beautiful and a wonderful experience. I also think it was rather good on my bad toe.
We also got to go to El Paragua restaraunt in Espanola on the way home, which I have been wanting to try for a couple of years but can't ever remember the name, and still can't remember the name. Sopapillas and peach preserves, were perhaps one of the most devine treats I have ever had! Yum!
And now the week begins. Work tomorrow, school wednesday, club Thursday, anyone?
