...This place seems to be good at that. [He sounds notably younger--he's lost ten years, after all. But unlike Ryu and Giotto, he still remembers everything.]
[He nods his head--this flame, he recognizes, but once more, the curling embers are different. Quite unlike the burning torrents which are your storm attribute, this is almost like only a spark, the beginnings of a cackling fire.]
Signore Valente.
[He gives you a small bow, long dark hair curling around his shoulders. There is a smile on his face--a polite smile, with less innocence.]
I am to assume that I returned to this island then.
I heard from the Decimo it shouldn't be longer than a week, at most. You should be able to leave then at least. [Lucky for you, but perhaps not so much your younger self. It makes him wonder though--whether this is just an oddity. If you only showed up here, after the years, because of the age change, or if this place will always have a hold on all of those stuck here.]
This place is...playing tricks again. [He frowns at that, but it doesn't really reach into his tone. And you can tell to some extent, he's sure, but he'll clarify the change anyway.] The older have gotten younger, and the younger older. For some reason, both Giotto and Ryu have forgotten everything after the memories of their younger selves.
[His expression wavers, only just slightly, before it morphs back into that polite smile.] Ah, yes, Sawada Tsunayoshi... Boss' descendant.
[His grip may have tightened but it's difficult to notice as the trident then chooses to fade away into mist. He listens, a thoughtful light glimmering in his greyish eyes, and he hums lightly.]
I have.. no recollection of such an event. This is rather worrying.
[He remembers vaguely that the Boss was rather... spastic when he was young, and Signore Ryu..]
[The waver in that smile was caught, but he doesn't chose to comment on it at the moment--stays on the topic at hand.] Mm... Likely because you, the older, are going through it rather than the younger. You switched places. It's about as much sense as I can make of it, anyway.
But other than being confused, they are fine, yes.

[Even if only briefly. After so many years.]

Are they both all right?

These kinds of things only last for a week, I remember... Though some last longer than others.
