Addicted to the Food Channel
I headed off to playland after wanting to go for a few month. It's basically a fair with lots of rides and games.
I went with one other friend, and had breakfast together before heading out <-- big mistake!! We went on 8 rides STRAIGHT and almost THREW UP! It took us about 2 hours of napping/resting before being able to walk straight again. Sure, that few hours were nauseating, but we sure had fun ^^
Afterwards, even the gentle rocking of the bus made us dizzy. Hmm..
The very next day, I went hiking on Grouse Mountain.
Now, the trail is called Grouse "GRIND" for a reason. It was bascially steep steps all the way up the slope!! There was a lot of huffing and puffing probably cuz I was stupid enough to bring a heavy bag T_T;;
After getting up to the top, we stayed til sunset, and watch the magnificant view of Vancouver's night lights on the mountain. It was a great view!! It really made me appreciate my city a little more =)
Sprite had his first encounter with a neighbour cat.
Sprite spotted the fiend and froze right away. His tail hair stood up as the other cat hissed at him.
I walked over to prevent any fights between the 2, and Sprite must've felt safe in my prescence and walked off gracefully. He turned every now and there to watch his older counterpart, but eventually lost interest.
He took it pretty well I have to say! Though he is younger than the other cat, he is also much weaker. If a fight broke out, Sprite would be in biiiiggg trouble!
