The premiére at 10 in the morning yesterday didn't go too well. The energy was as bit low, and there was trouble with the shifts.
The second show at half past 12, on the other hand, went great.
Except from one thing.
See, in the very first scene, when all of the actors are supoosed to be on stage, I smashed my foot into this sharp metal thingy the same second I was supposed to go on. I lost my left shoe and came jumping on one foot onto the stage, grinding my teeth, trying to ignore the pain. I had to walk out on the opposite side of where I entered, and during one shift, I had to be in role and feth my shoe. Embarrassment. And the pain, oh the pain. I could feel that I was bleeding beneath the pantyhose, but couldn't do anything about it. Suddenly, the pain stopped, but the second I was about to let out a sigh of relief, it reappeared. My scenes went really well, despite this. And I managed not to cry! Woo... Also, people were all comforting and nice, aww.
After the show, I took off my pantyhose, and saw that there was a rather small cut on top of my foot, and some skin was scratched off. My skin is very fragile, I bruise very easily, and the skin on top of my foot is reaaally vulnerable. Also, this really sucks, cause I can't wear my brown winter shoes. I had to borrow Ina's (girl in my class) shoes, cause they're too big for me and didn't hurt my foot, and went home and fetched my Shangri-La shoes, as they lack fabric on the patch where my foot hurts, so, yay, but they're really thin, and it's gonna be cold. Gah.
It's just so typical. Just when the painful bruise on my shin is starting to fade a bit, I get this. Brilliant.
I shouldn't be allowed to be near sharp things.
Nearly smashed my toe just now, even. I'm so clumsyyy!
Other than this, I'm doing great.
Andreas saw the play last night. It was very nice seeing him again, and him being there made me very nervous, but also made me do a greater effort to act well. He walked with me and the rest of my class to Jekyll&Hyde, a local restaurant, sat there with us for a bit, then sadly had to leave. People said nice things about us after he left. Hee.
The dinner was quite nice. I really love my class.
I had barbeque marinated turkey. It wasn't that good, and it was very expensive. I prefer Peppes...
I was so tired when I got home. I really, really love my bed...
I think more people from my flist should come see the play, as it's fun and cool and sad and weird and crazy and good. (See my last post for more information.)
In other news, I'm finding it more and more difficult to express myself in English when writing my posts. Intimidating, it is.
