Beam splash glitter, sparkle, sing

The weekend has been great.
Frøydis/fox_faolan and I make a great baking/party-making team! Arrived at her place Friday night, made dessert pie-thingies, talked and slept, baked chocolate cake, made soup, finished pie thingies and set the table on Saturday. I love setting and decorating the table neatly, and can't wait until my own birthday party. Must start planning soon... Eee. I love planning parties. And Frøydis and I will make great-looking (and -tasting) food. (Note: Invite list for my birthday is coming soon! It won't be until 3rd of December, though, so no rush.)

The birthday celebration of Frøydis was fun and cosy and great. We played a cool boardgame, which Andreas and I won, mostly by creative placing of each others body parts on one another and by creating words out of random letters. In fact, I don't think we ever chose to do any of the other options/tasks... Oh well, but we won, and that's all that matters, right, kids? Be a winner, not a sinner! ...Yes.

Anyways.
I should go to the shoe man. I mean, the man who fixes your shoe. Shoemaker? See, one of my favourite winter shoes have a broken zipper. It's had it since early last winter, so I thought it would be about time to fix it. Ah, I love those shoes. Do you like your shoes? How much do shoes really mean to you? Do you carefully match them with your outfit, or just put a random pair of shoes on, no matter what colours the rest of your outfit is?

Just wondering. Lately, I've started being more and more interested in colours, and clothes in general, really. Inspiration for dressing neatly. I like clothes. I guess it's kind of important to me to use my clothes to express who I am - to some extent... And also to look more or less nice, of course. I've started noticing what other people wear, and which colours looks good on them, and which look awful. It's kind of mean, I guess, seeing a girl in my class, thinking "Oh my god, what an awful colour you have on you..." Or is it? Would be meaner if I said it. Why is this so important to me? Gah. Perhaps I should be some kind of... Style helper, or something.

I guess this interest is related to my passion for decorating tables, rooms and walls - interior in general. Mixing colours and making it look neat.

Heh.

I see people like rooms.

Except I'd decorate them with a sweater rather than a sofa. (Most people, at least.)

How important are decoration, colours and style to you?
