Of Panel Prepping
I put in a long day at work today as a sort of pennance for being absent all day from work tomorrow.
It looks like it's going to be just Kyn, myself and her doglets going to FC. selasphorus is going to stay and hold down the fort this year, kinda like I did the year past.
Right now I'm going crazy trying to make sure that the Gryphon Panel is going to go okay. I'm afraid that by doing the panel alone this year, I might turn into "teacher mode". :p I'm going to be bringing a bunch of books and research guides as visual aids, as well as a couple of posters.
I also will be bringing along a writing easel, although for the life of me I don't know what I can use it for. It's just essentially a flipchart, and I was thinking of writing down just some generic gryph info on a few of the pages, but that might come off as too teachery. Maybe I can think of a game to use with it, I don't know.
Gah, it's getting late. I think Kyn and I will be getting to the con around noonish, for the curious. We'll probably leave sometime on Saturday afternoon.
