Of Mild Aggravations and A Wii Price Cut

Sep 23, 2009 20:34

The day started with a rather longer than intended morning run after I forgot to take a turn. The day went rather fast thanks to teaching Sector Capstone, though it's tiring as hell. (YOU try being an Evil GM for 8 hours straight!) Add on an extra tiring and annoying Bowling Watch to make the day EXTRA long.

When I haven't been cleaning up beer spills and clearing out jammed bowling pins (not to mention babysitting the bowlers' children) I've been researching education oportunities as a civilian instructor. Unfortunately all I received from my research was an overwhelming sense of dread. >.> I'll write more on that later, I think.

For now, I am happy to report that the Wii has finally gotten a price cut, with the price going from $250 to $200 as of September 27th. (PAL and Japan get price cuts, too.) So if you've been sitting on the fence about picking up a Wii, soon the deal will get even better!
