Of Orbiting Vultures
Well, they DO kinda float around in big circles. :p
Kynekh is far more of a gamer - in the video game sense - than she lets on. Every so often she’ll find a game concept or style that “clicks” with her and she excels at it.
Take last night, for instance. We were done watching a rather kick-ass Angel episode and so I thought I would do some light gaming. I brought up Art Style: Orbient, a rather addictive WiiWare game that I recently purchased, and proceeded to crash my poor little star into oblivion. Then Kyn took a turn. I believe that it took her approximately 20 minutes to get to a point in the game that it took me over an hour to get to!
Orbient was a really fun game to watch her play, actually. Check out the link I posted about the game for the full details on it, but suffice to say that the game is built upon simplicity in gameplay, music, visuals, yet is also deep and compelling. I’m really impressed with the game. I might pick up the other two puzzlers in the “Art Style” series on WiiWare soon.
