While he may not have had such good perception like Yuushi had, Kura was well aware there was more than a handful of level E's roaming the area. He'd been the first to find the clues leading them to where they currently stood. There had been no visual confirmation, but the scent that clung to the air was proof enough to know that Atobe Keigo was in that building. The fact the scent didn't diminish was also proof that he was still alive and inside. What condition they would find him in when they got to him, he had no idea. He hoped his friend wasn't on the verge of death, or worse still; that the small rescue group wasn't being lured into some trap Atobe's father laid out.

Kuranosuke was somewhat familiar with those, after all. It would boil his blood to know that he was that far ahead of his son, to know that friends would try rescuing him.

Rather than think on it, he turned his gaze from the rickety looking mansion. "I don't think we should go in without a plan. And no offense, but if we split up, my sister goes with me. However capable she is, it's still my job to protect her."
