When: October 31st (daytime)
Where: In town
What: Eiji tries out his costume on Sengoku and gets more than he bargained for
Rated: G
He hadn't planned on stopping by the cafe in town. Sengoku had only came into town to buy a new portable hard drive, but a group of girls from Day Class had invited him over, and he was having a good time chatting them up and letting them flirt with him. He was never one to waste an opportunity and they were nice enough. Not Eiji or Tomoka, but fun to chat with.
Kikumaru Eiji, too, had not planned on making any unnecessary stops in town. It was October 31st... and the red heads master plan had been set in motion some two hours before hand. While the Student Council had been circling the Twilight Building, Eiji had managed to slip through there ranks and out the front gate without being detected. After that the acrobat had found the nearest establishment open, and made a bee-line for their wash rooms.
It was here that he started his transformation. Stripping off his clothes, Eiji fitted on a padded bra, using two thawed ice packs to stuff the cups, checking to make sure they sat correctly before donning the rest of the outfit. It was comprised of a simple, yet stylish black, gray, and purple dress; a pair of black tights; in style pump heels, and a purple light overjacket to complete the look. Ultimately he topped it off with a wig of a shade that almost matched his own hair color. Fifteen minutes of Tomo-chan's fantastic make-up tips and he could hardly recognize himself.
Upon leaving, Eiji rushed to the nail salon. By the time he was properly fitted with a french manicure it was already lunch time and the red head decided to head back up to the school - but it was there that he was stopped in his tracks, spotting his first target... and also first challenge.
Sengoku Kiyosumi was sitting in one of the cafes near the edge of town, surrounded by chatting girls. Grinning, Eiji entered the building, tossing back the long hair of the wig elegantly off his shoulder as he passed Sengoku's table to get to the counter.
Blue eyes immediately lit on the new arrival, trailing after the 'girl' in the middle of the conversation. Sengoku excused himself politely with the excuse of getting something to drink, and found himself behind the mysterious redhaired girl. Nothing wrong with chatting up such a cutie, it was just a little harmless flirting. "Hi there," he smiled charmingly. "Can I treat you to anything Miss?"
Inwardly Eiji laughed, but kept his face charmingly neutral, turning his body halfway around in mock surprise at the sudden appearance of Sengoku behind him. "E-eh?" he murmured, keeping his voice as femenine as possible. "But aren't you already with someone?" Sapphire eyes drifted over Kiyosumi's shoulder to land on the girls before darting back to him. This way, Eiji figured, Sengoku would know that 'she' had enough interest in him from the off to take notice of where he had been sitting.
"Oh they're just friends from school. They're just using me for practice. I've already heard about most of their crushes," he chuckled, walking the girl up to the counter and asking for a soda. "What can I get you?"
His first instinct was to order a melon soda... but Eiji decided that ordering his favorite drink would be hinting a little too closely. "Coffee, please," he smiled, leaning a little against the counter. "Though I feel terrible about accepting the offer. I don't even know your name." He bit back his urge to make the 'nyo' sound.
Something about that smile made Sengoku blink. It looked so familiar that he let it run through the back of his mind as he ordered the coffee. "Oh! Sengoku Kiyosumi," he took her delicate looking hand and shook it gently. "And you are...hm...what would someone name an angel like you," he wondered out loud, tapping his fingertips against his lips.
It took effort not to laugh at that one, Eiji's hand twitching in Kiyosumi's. The red head allowed his free hand to come up to his mouth to hide his smile, allowing a small flush to creep over his face. Embarrassing mental images could do that too a boy.
"Aa..ah... Kujou... Haruka. It's a pleasure to meet you, Sengoku-kun." But this really was too easy. Kiyosumi was falling into his trap with hardly any effort at all.
Did he really look that much like a woman?
"Do you go to the school here? I'm supposed to be starting next week, but I'm afraid I don't know anyone.." Again he forced down the urge to end the sentence with a 'nyo'.
The boy's eyebrows knit together hearing that. "Really? I haven't heard a thing about any new arrivals..." Sengoku tried to work it out that he could make such announcements over the website to help welcome any new students on campus.
Kikumaru almost winced. Sengoku's knowledge of the schools ins and outs was nothing to be taken lightly. However, he could play off it. "Yes, it was really sudden. My father got a sudden promotion at his job that made school transfer a must. I'm an only child so Mother and Father decided a boarding school like this was a better option than going to America." The attendant had returned with their orders and Eiji accepted his gratefully. "Are you on the school's welcoming committee or something?" he asked, pouting curiously.
If he'd been wondering about the smile, the pout was definitely enough to make little warning bells go off in Sengoku's head. He knew that pout, had only seen it countless times already. And now that he recognized that, he knew where he knew the smile from too.
So this was the big halloween secret, he thought, connecting the dots mentally as he took in the red hair, the heart shaped face and the sapphire colored eyes dancing back at him. Now that he knew what to look for, even the rest was recognizable under all the girl clothing.
Well. It looked like Eiji had gotten him good. Really good. That didn't mean he wasnt going to have a little fun back. Smiling easily, he took "Haruka's" hand again. "Something like that."
Eiji grinned back, eyes darting down to where their hands had met. Sengoku was being aweful forward. However, he supposed if he met a pretty girl (and damnit, he did make a pretty girl) he would most likely treat here in the same manner.
"Something like that?" he asked calmly, giving Sengoku's hand a little tug as he walked to an abandoned table near the window, not releasing it until he was seated. "Well, I leave myself in your hands, senpai." He bowed his head, letting the wig hair fall slightly forward so he could brush it away with his manicured hand once he straightened. "Please treat me kindly."
"I could never treat anyone so cute unkindly now," Sengoku smiled, admiring the manicure he knew hadn't been there yesterday. "So, are you going to be in the Day Class, or the Night Class?"
"Are you always so charming?" he asked, offering an embarrassed smile. He couldn't help but imagine Sengoku's face when he told him that he was flirting with his friend all along. "Oh, Night Class. The school decided it was for the best as I was coming in so late in the term. What class are you in, Sengoku-kun?" Eiji asked, running a finger over the rim of his cup.
"I'm just being honest in a charming way," Sengoku chuckled. "I'm in the Day Class. Its too bad really. Our classes really don't get to mix enough."
Eiji smirked back at him, sipping at his coffee. "I suppose this was fate than?" he sighed, eyes lifting to meet Sengoku's. Setting his cup back down, the redhead fixed his expression to seem like he was put out. "Though I feel saddened that I won't get to see you anymore at school... maybe we can meet sometime outside of class?"
Tomo-chan so had to have coached Eiji on things to say, Sengoku thought. He hadn't heard a 'nya' or a 'nyo' or anything remotely close this whole time, when his friend usually couldn't go two sentences without a cute noise. "Oh I bet we can meet up a lot," he said, laying out the trap. "My two friends know all the ways to slip around campus after curfew."
His lips curved into a grin, though he was frantically searching for a response in the back of his mind. If Sengoku tried to call his cell phone... that would be bad. "Two friends.... and there's a curfew? That's no fun," he pouted again, blocking the noise threatening to come out once more.
"Yeah. Osakada Tomoka-chan and Kikumaru Eiji. I'll have to introduce you to them," the redhead smiled at the pout. "Gotta warn you though, Eiji'll start insisting you call him the 'Great Kikumaru-sama' right off the bat."
Eiji fought down a frown. He didn't insist on everyone calling him that.... in fact the term embarrassed him a bit when it wasn't himself uttering it. "He sounds interesting... did you meet him here at school?" Eiji asked, taking another sip of coffee to hide his face.
Taking a long swallow of his soda, Sengoku nodded. "Sure did. He likes to come worship my video games in my room," he laughed. "He's pretty good at them too. He beats me a lot of the time. And then he does this cute kinda victory dance."
Before he could control his emotions Eiji could feel his face heating up in embarrassment. He didn't do a victory dance - it was more like a sing-song shuffle. "So you two like video games? I don't really understand them... maybe you could teach me some time, Sengoku-kun?"
"Sure, anytime! Well, if I can pry Eiji off of them. He can be pretty competitive so I wouldn't want him to scare you off. If not, maybe I can show you the school website instead? When Eiji gets in the gaming zone he pretty much forgets I exist anyway..."
What...? He didn't ignore him... did he? Sure, they played video games a lot, but that didn't mean he was ignoring him. They were playing together, right? Not thinking, his face fell into a frown. "I'm... sure that's not true. You're making it out like he's using you and doesn't like spending time with you. I'm sure that's not the case. Sengoku-kun seems very likable."
"Hm? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound like that. We're good friends and all, really. I don't mind that he comes over just to play games. At least I get to spend time with him then. I just have to be careful to let him win a lot," he winked.
Something flashed in his eyes. "You let him win?" No way in hell. He always put up a good fight, even if it was a losing battle. "Are you sure he doesn't manage on his own? Or are you secretly a video game champion as well, Mr. School Welcome Committee?"
"Nothing like that," Sengoku chuckled, waving his hand dismissively. Eiji was definitely cracking now. This was just too much fun. "He's good, but I know a lot of the secret upgrades and stuff like that, and he gets mad if I beat him with one. But if he catches me skipping them, then he gets mad that I'm not playing all out. So I usually just play straight. He's better than me skill wise so that's how he usually beats me."
A smile curved back onto Eiji's lips. "Aa~ So you only beat him when you're doing something underhanded?" He blinked, inwardly frowning at letting so much of himself shine through. "Oh, sorry... as I said, I don't know the ins and outs of video games. I'm terrible with electronics. I can barely work my cell phone-n..." Eiji brought the cup to his lips, stifling the sound.
"Well, I don't want him throwing a fit at me either. Eiji-chan is scary when he scolds you," Sengoku grinned. "I can show you short cuts on your cell phone if you want. It's not too hard."
For the briefest moment, Eiji's eyes grew wide. Once looks at his cell phone and Sengoku would be able to tell Haruka was not who she was saying she was. "Ah... okay." Reaching into his purse he dug around, pushing the cell phone to the farthest reaches. "Oh no... I can't believe it, it's not here!"
"That's okay, really. I can just show you on mine." He pulled out his phone, calling up the contact list where he had Eiji and Tomoka's cell numbers listed on the top, right after his parents. He wondered what his friend would think of the big red heart he'd put next to his name.
Getting up, the redhead moved around the table to stoop behind Sengoku, his fake breasts resting against the other's shoulder while the wig hair fell down to cover part of his face. This, it turned out, was a good thing, his eyes widening a little at the heart. "Kikumaru... Eiji-kun is a boy, right? Are you two lovers?" The senteance was hard for him to get out... but he managed.
And now to watch Eiji walk right into the trap. "I guess I wouldn't mind really, but he's practically dating Tomo-chan," he shrugged with a little sigh. "Undoubtedly straight, you know? I'm all for equal opportunity myself. I guess you're asking because of the heart, right? I can only guess that he put it there as a joke or something. Kind of like how Tomo-chan likes to put stars after her name," he pointed out, showing the little stars after Tomoka's name. "I don't think he'd mean it to be cruel...he's not like that."
Eiji listened as calmly as he could to Sengoku's explanation. Still, that didn't change the fact that he had just become privy to information that Sengoku undoubtably didn't want him to know. "I didn't put that..." he muttered under his breath before clearing his throat. "If you have feelings for him, shouldn't you tell him? Though it is a pity, seeing that you have your heart stolen by someone else-ny" Damnit, he had only barely caught it that time.
"That's okay," Sengoku told him as he scooted over to let him sit next to him. "I'd probably just get a really awkward speech about him being straight, you know?" He ran a hand over his face, looking like he might be holding back his emotions before he smiled again. "Maybe I should just move on..."
"Are you so sure he's only interested in girls? That is... have you asked him directly?" Eiji asked, before bringing a hand up to his mouth. "I'm so sorry, we've only just met but I'm asking you so many personal questions..."
And answering so many of mine Sengoku thought to himself. "Its fine. I'm sorry you have to listen to my problems," he assured "Haruka". "I haven't asked him...but he really doesn't show any interest. We're friends, but its not like he treats me anymore special than he does the rest of his friends. He'd just smack me and leave if I did anything like try to kiss him.."
Actually, Sengoku wasn't too far off the mark. If he tried to force himself on him... yeah, no doubt he would probably get a black eye in return. However, the idea of kissing Kiyosumi wasn't exactly unappealing. He was attractive, and everyone knew (except, Sengoku, apparently) that he swung both ways.
"Maybe he's not showing it because you haven't shown yours?" he sighed, leaning a little against his friend. "I still think you should tell him directly how you feel. You'll never know what his feelings are unless you ask him-nyo." Eiji's eyes widened and he had to stop his hand from clasping his mouth. Hopefully Sengoku hadn't caught the slip-up.
"So you think I have a chance?" Sengoku asked, internally smirking at the 'nyo'. "I've done a lot of hinting, but it doesn't seem to be working. Ah, maybe I should just give up and ask you out, Haruka-chan," he smiled, taking Eiji's hand again. "I feel like I could tell you anything."
Eiji felt his cheeks turn pink again, though this time he was sure the color was brighter. Sengoku liked him. Liked him more than a friend. Ooooooooh god but this was unexpected. Batting his fake lashes, Eiji turned a grin to Kiyosumi. "I wouldn't say no... Sengoku-kun. but I don't think that you should just give up on this Kikumaru-kun either. He's apparently a ditz, but you should give him a second chance."
Eiji was blatantly telling him to ask him out? That was really...not what he'd been expecting. He'd honestly thought that his friend would give him some sort of brush off, or give himself away with an outburst. Just like that, Sengoku's plan to out Eiji shifted into a new, better plan to finally have a chance with the boy he'd fallen head over heels for. He just had to not screw it up until then.
"I guess you're right. It wouldn't be fair to you either, would it, Haruka-chan? He's just so cute I can't help myself," he smiled. "But if it doesn't work out, maybe you'll go out with me out of pity?"
Eiji faked a giggle, reaching over to take a sip of his drink. "I'd like to meet him sometime, seeing as you speak so highly of him," he mused, shifting a little in the booth. "I already said I wouldn't refuse you, didn't I, Sengoku-kun. I actually feel a bit put out that you're already somewhat taken-ny..."
"Well, if you come to the school tonight, we're celebrating Halloween. I can introduce you to him. In fact, what am I doing waiting? I should go find him now," he said, flipping open his phone. "Maybe he snuck into my room to play a little," he laughed.
Eiji's eyes widened as Sengoku made to call his cell phone. "mm... My lipstick seems to have messed a bit from drinking. I'm going to run to the ladies room for a moment, okay?" Without waiting for Kiyosumi's answer Eiji lifted his purse and made his way to the restrooms. God, but that was close.
Obviously Eiji hadn't learned much from his sisters or Tomoka-chan about makeup, Sengoku had to laugh into his hand as he watched his friend flounce off in his dress. Girls usually kept compact mirrors in their purses for checking their makeup. They didn't typically careen towards the bathroom at high speed just to check lipstick. But he had to credit him for the quick save, and counted to ten before he dialed Eiji's cell phone number.
As if on cue Eiji's cell phone started to play the familiar song he had alloted to Sengoku's cell number. He gave it three rings before he answer. "Moshi mosshhh~, Kiyo~. I've been looking for you all day-nya. Wanted to show you my Halloween costume but you're not in the dorm...."
"I got a little waylaid in town," Sengoku answered, settling back against the booth. "I met the cutest girl, a real angel," he smiled. "Where are you right now? I have something I need to ask you."
"A girl, huh?" Eiji grinned, pulling a little at his wig. "Not cuter than me, right?" he asked, trying not to laugh. "Ah... I'm still up at the school. Asada-chan wanted my help with something so I'm about to head down to the commons and help her out."
"As if anyone is cuter than you," he answered back easily, in his most flirtatious voice. "Okay well, I'm going to head back now then. I'll come find you."
"Uh... um...I dunno if that's okay right now. As I said, I'm helping Asada-chan-nya. School project, so we'll be busy for a bit," he replied, resetting his lipstick as he talked.
"That's okay. I dont really have too much to do, so I'll come help too. It'll go faster that way." Oh he was going to love to see how Eiji wormed out of this...
Well damn. He couldn't be two places at once, and he was fairly sure he wouldn't have the time to change his clothes before Sengoku found him. Not to mention wash off the make-up - and what about the fake nails and lashes? Nope... there was absolutely NO WAY Sengoku could see 'Eiji' today. "It's a class project, so only we're supposed to be working on it-nyo... and you know sensei. He'd flip if he found out we cheated."
"But I have something really important to tell you. It can't wait. Cant you just slip out for a few minutes?"
Damnit, damnit, damnit! "I... yeah... sure thing. Are you coming now?" He could talk to him without seeing him... right?
This was just too funny. He suddenly had a vicion of "Haruka" sprinting towards the school tearing off clothes to beat him there. Maybe he ought to give Eiji a break. "You know what? Maybe I should really wait...will you meet me tonight?"
Eiji couldn't help but sigh in relief. "Tonight? Yeah, sure. I'll even show you my Halloween costume. I'm sure you're going to l~o~v~e~ it-nya."
"If you're wearing it, I'm sure its gonna be a mindblower," Sengoku agreed. "Can I come to your room tonight then?"
That question brought up thoughts of their previous conversation. Was Sengoku actually going to confess to him? The thought brought another unconcious flush to his cheeks. "Oh, it's a mindblower alright-nya. I bet you wouldn't even recognize me. .... hmm, tonight? Well, I said I was going into town some point tonight with some people... but I can either cancel or maybe we can do it after? When were you thinking?"
"Yeah, I was thinking of going too. Maybe I'll see you there and we can walk back or something. If I don't, then I'll meet you back at your room whenever you get back."
"This thing must be really important, huh? You're not thinking of breaking away from the Kikumaru Black Market, are you?" he said, pouting a little, even though Sengoku couldn't see.
"And have Tomo-chan put her foot in my butt so far I'm a house slipper? Nah. It's something just between us, okay?"
Yep, Sengoku was totally going to confess. Eiji suddenly felt like a dozen butterflies had appeared in his stomach. "Damn, and I was looking forward to the creation of the Sengoku slipper too. Okay, I'll see you tonight, okay?"
"Tonight. Don't forget. I'll just tell Haruka-chan goodbye and let you get to your project," he smiled. "Talk to you later."
"Haruka-chan? Oh, the pretty girl you met... yeah. I'm sure she's got better things to do than talk to you-nya," he snickered, poking fun. "Ack, yeah, here comes Asada-chan to kick my tail into gear. Catch you later-nya!" And with that he hung up. Giving himself one more once over, Eiji left the bathroom and returned to their booth. "I smugged my eye make-up, can you believe it? Had to redo it all."
"It looks like you fixed it perfectly," he answered. "Did you put blush on too? Your cheeks are really pink now."
Damnit, so he was still blushing?! "Ah... a little. Maybe I over did it a bit..." Somehow this game was getting a bit too dangerous...
"People are going to think I'm confessing to you or something," Sengoku teased. "You look like you're blushing at me."
That only seemed to make the blush worse. "Aa-ah! I'm so sorry! This must be so embarrassing for you, Sengoku-kun. And after you were so nice to buy me a drink and everything..."
"I don't mind. Really. I feel like I was incredibly lucky to run into you, Harkuka-chan. You're like my guardian angel."
Eiji blinked, raising his eyes to meet Kiyosumi's. "Your Guardian Angel? Where did you come up... with that conclusion..." He flushed again, only now starting to realize that he found the other boy attrative as well.
"You convinced me to go for what I want. Its like it was fate meeting you. Someone up there must like me." The redhead laughed a little, resting his chin on his palm and looking into Eiji's eyes warmly.
Eiji smiled back... but somehow felt a little wrong in doing so. With everything that had happened in the last thirty minutes - he felt like he was cheating... betraying Sengoku's trust. If he told him tonight... well, Kiyosumi would probably feel a fool and never speak to him again. No - he needed... to end it. "Actually... it was a lot more than fate... it was set up-nya." Eiji still spoke with his feminine voice, but didn't bother trying to cover up his mannerism.
Eiji never failed to surprise him. Was he really going to reveal everything so soon? "Tomo-chan sent you to goose me, huh? That's okay. I was actually waiting for you to come back so I can say goodbye for now. I was going to head back to the school."
Goose? Tomo-chan? Ooooh gods, he was joking right? Hadn't he caught the 'nya'? Still, it would be his own fault now, for not catching on sooner. "Ah... yeah. Something like that. Gomen gomen, Sengoku-kun," he winked, moving to get up. "I still say you're pretty attractive though. I wouldn't mind an actual date sometime."
"I'll keep that in mind," Sengoku told him, moving out of the booth too. He took Eijis hand in his one last time and kissed the back of it. "I don't know how to thank you. We should get together later, okay?" With that, he started walking out of the cafe and tossed a grin over his shoulder. What the hell.
"Don't forget about tonight, though. I'll let Tomo-chan know she did a great job with your makeup. See ya." Lifting his hand he tossed him a wave goodbye and disappeared out the door.
No way. No way did he just hear that correctly. Had Sengoku seen through him all along?! But his disguise was perfect! Abandoning his coffee Eiji snatched up his purse and ran (as fast as his heels could carry him) to the door. "Kiyo! You saw through it?" he asked, opening the door and reaching out in attempts to snatch the other's wrist.
He was just a little too late, Sengoku already walking into the crowd heading out to the street. "Maybe I'll tell you how later~" He called back, walking away with a little whistle on his lips.
"Damn you-nya! You weren't supposed to see through it!" he growled, stamping a heeled foot into the sidewalk, flushing. Still, in his current state it was better to let Sengoku be. The other boy clearly had the upper hand. So instead of following Eiji stopped, letting the people brush past him. a lone and forgotten 'girl' abandoned by 'her' date.
~~~***~~~***~~~***
**Later that night**
It was late. Later than Eiji had expected the Halloween dance to last, considering some of the people he had gone out with. His digital clock blinked fifteen til midnight as the red head tossed his purse onto the bed, kicking off the heels in the doorway before falling headfirst onto his comfortable bed, not bothering to change into his PJs. It was early for him... but after today Eiji thought he deserved the right to turn in early.
At exactly midnight, Sengoku knocked on the door. He hadn't seen Eiji for the rest of the night after dancing with Tomo, but it wasn't hard to lose the redhead in the masses of students running around. But now he was sure he was back in his room. And he had come to keep his promise, calling out Eiji's name softly through the door so as not to wake anyone else on the floor.
The red head twitched on the bed, snatching up a pillow and throwing it in the direction of the door. He had only just managed to get to sleep. Still, the voice beyond the door was most certainly Sengoku's, and Eiji decided that it would be best to deal with the situation now rather than later. After all, if it became too embarrassing he could always complain he was tired and wanted to sleep.
"Hoi... I'm coming I'm coming..." Eiji frowned, forcing himself off the bed, pulling down the dress where it had ridden up before unlocking the door and opening it a sliver. "Thought you weren't coming-nya."
"You weren't back yet a half hour ago," Sengoku pointed out, leaning in the door a moment and looking at his friend's rumpled remaining femaleness. "Can I come in?"
The redhead tossed a glance at the clock as he moved back to open the door for Sengoku. One past midnight. "I didn't get back til fifteen minutes ago. I was really tired though so I just kinda collapsed." Eiji finished his sentence with a yawn, adding to the effect. Rubbing his eyes (and effectively smearing his eye make-up) the acrobat moved over to the bed, flopping down on it.
"You wanted to talk to me about something...?"
Stepping into the room, Sengoku shut the door behind him and watched Eiji lay back down. "You know what I wanted to talk about, Ei-chan."
Eiji did know. Still, he wasn't about to bring it up himself. It would only make things even more awkward than they already were. The redhead made a show of another yawn before replying. "Do I-nyo?" he asked with a questioning glance. "I don't remember you saying..."
"Will you go out with me, Eiji?" Sengoku cut through whatever awkwardness he might of felt at it too, and just went with being direct with what he wanted.
As though on cue Eiji's flush had returned, his face heating up considerably. He hadn't expected Kiyosumi to come out and say it like that. Not at all. He hesitated, not looking at the other. Eiji had meant what he had said earlier that day. In all honesty, he wouldn't mind dating Sengoku. However... if they did date, and things didn't work out and ended badly... he didn't want to think of losing the other redhead as a friend.
It was a gamble. To be alone or go for what he wanted and risk losing everything.
To buy time he allowed a chuckle, switching positions on the bed. "We go out together all the time, don't we?"
"Is that your way of telling me no?" Sengoku asked him softly, watching him. There was a creeping, sinking sensation in his chest, just at the thought that Eiji might have strung him along earlier. If all that had been a joke...
Eiji couldn't bring himself to look at his friends face and actually twisted his body to the side, facing the wall. "It wasn't... that is..." He paused, biting his lip. "I want... something.... but I'm afraid of losing something else. I wouldn't lose it for sure... but it's possible...." It was cryptic... but Eiji was pretty sure Sengoku would understand.
He did understand, all too well. "Its nothing I haven't thought about, Eiji. Worried about either. But I wouldn't ask you if I wasn't serious."
His heart was racing. Maybe they could try. After all, it was only a date. And if it didn't work out... it was only a date. He had still been friends with plenty of his ex's. It could work....
"I... know you wouldn't." With effort, the redhead flipped back onto his back. "And I guess... after everything I said today... I shouldn't be freaking out now, huh?" he asked, giving a small grin. "Okay. But you better take me somewhere nice-nya."
"You mean we can't just go straight to the making out?" Sengoku teased him.
That made him chuckle. "Pervert. You just want to take advantage of me while I'm in a dress," Eiji grinned, sticking out his tongue. "What kind of boy do you take me for, to make out on the first date-nya... before the first date!"
"So does that mean I can't kiss you at all until then?" he asked him with a mournful expression.
Kikumaru rolled his eyes, forcing himself into a sitting position. "To think it takes a dress to get you to want to kiss me. I didn't think you'd like cross-dressing."
"You're still thinking about your dress? All it takes is for it to be you, Eiji..."
Once more, Eiji was blushing. "You must have really awesome self-control than, considering I spend most of my free time in your room-nya," he murmured, getting up from the bed, readjusting his dress again, before moving over to the other boy and lightly brushing their lips together. "But that's all you get until I at least get a dinner," Eiji winked, teasingly.
All at once, he was trapped in Sengoku's arms, the other boy holding him close. "You didn't say a thing about hugs, Ei-chan," he smiled.
Trapped was putting it lightly. The smaller boy couldn't move an inch. "No... I didn't," Eiji sighed, trying to twist a little in the taller boy's grasp. He gave in a few moments later, simply leaning against Kiyosumi. "... though at some point I might wanna sleep-nyo."
"So cruel," Sengoku murmured, kissing the tip of Eiji's nose before he let him go reluctantly. "I'll let you sleep.
Twisting out of Sengoku's grip, the redhead snatched at his friend's hand and tugged. "Cruel? I didn't say you had to leave. The bed's big enough for both of us." The words had come out before Eiji had given them much thought. Ah well - it wasn't like it was the first time someone had shared a bed with him.
"Wha--really?" Surprised, Sengoku stared back at him, blinking. That was the last thing he'd expected Eiji to offer. When the other boy nodded, Sengoku let him tug him back, curling up with him on the bed.
