RP log: Shishido Ryou & Tachibana An

What: An is still curious by what Shishido means by experimenting.
An usually wasn’t one to pry into peoples business but she was honestly curious about what Shishido had meant and she really did have to ask him something about the homework they had been given which also made for a wonderful excuse to pay him a visit.
Giving his door a knock , An waited for him to open it all the while holding a innocent smile on her face.
At the knock, Shishido put down his notebook, that he was more doodling than writing in, and went to answer the door. “Oh, An,” Not the visitor he had been expecting but not unwanted. “What’s up?” He asked as he opened the door fully and leaned against the door frame casually.
“Oh, not much...Thought I’d come by and ask you something.” She said leaning a bit closer to him with a grin on her face. “ Do you happen to know what pages we needed to read for history tomorrow, I kinda forgot to write it down.”
Shishido grinned at the easy to answer question. “Now that, I can definitely help you with. Come on in.” He gestured and then walked back into his room and toward his bed where his school books were placed haphazardly. He dug around in them until he found his history notebook and then flicked through it. “Here you go,” He said as he pointed to the page with the homework written on it and handed it to An. “Already read it. It’s one of the subjects that I don’t actually need help with.” It helped that he actually liked history, unlike many of the other subjects that just put his brain to sleep.
An excused herself and walked inside giving the room a glance over, “ Sorry to trouble you though, I hope you weren’t doing anything important.” From what she could see it looked like Shishido had been doing some homework. Taking the book she looked it over and memorised the pages. “ It’s not very hard for me either, just forgot to write down what we needed to read.”
“No trouble,” Shishido said taking back his book and tossing it carelessly on the bed. “Anything else you need?”
“Mmm, not really..” She said blinking lightly. An didn’t want to flat out ask him with out at least looking like she never intended to ask him about it. “Oh, well I’m still a bit curious about what you were experimenting.”
“Oh that?” Shishido said with a sigh as he flopped down onto his bed and onto a hard corner of a text book. He quickly grabbed it from beneath him and glared at the math text before tossing it further onto the bed. “You’re not going to let that go are you?” He was more surprised than annoyed at An’s persistance. Yeah, he knew it was a pain to be teased about something but he also didn’t think a little experiment was worth going on about.
“Well since I’m here might as well just ask.” An knew very well that she was a persistent girl and stubborn as a mule at that. All she wanted to know is what kind of experimenting he was doing and that was it. She wouldn’t even bother for details.
Shishido debated his options quickly and decided it would be easier to tell a bit of the truth than to try to get An off the topic. “Fine. But it’s really not that exciting. It’s just the normal sort of experimenting a teenager does.” He tried to play it cool with a grin on his face but he was pretty sure the heat he felt on his face was an obvious blush. Damn that Oshitari.
An had to think for a second, what did people her age do? “Ah...” There were a number of things she knew people did but they were things she could say she hadn’t done. Guess that made her abnormal didn’t it?
“Exactly,” Shishido said, convinced that An had gotten it and would be happy to leave it alone now. “So, any other questions? Or do we want to pretend to study while playing wii or something instead?” Shishido was determined to turn the entire school into wii playing addicts by Christmas. It was good to have goals.
“..I’m still not exactly sure what you mean by it.” She felt sort of like an idiot at this point but maybe it was better if she just dropped it before she looked to stupid, “That sounds like fun I wouldn’t mind playing.” She never had touched a wii in her life but it was ok to try new things.
Shishido, who was already digging out the controllers for his wii, paused and stared at An. “Seriously?” He asked and then saw An’s face and decided that she probably was. “Oh,” And why did actually having to say it make him blush again? So uncool. “Well, it was just some kissing.” He hoped An got it now. He certainly wasn’t planning on sharing any more details.
“Here, take this.” He passed her the wii chuck and got the system started.
Well it was to late to not look stupid,.Why didn’t she think about that? She let out a laugh to hide her embarrassment, “I guess that just shows you how much I know about anything.” It was more frustrating then anything, why did she even care about things like that now? She never really did before she got to the academy.
She took it and smiled lightly, “ Ah,thanks.”
“Nah, just means you haven’t found anyone worth experimenting with yet. No big deal. Now, if you were thirty and saying this... then I’d worry,” Shishido teased hoping to make An feel like it didn’t matter. He’d only kissed a handful of people himself and at least one he wished he hadn’t. Not all experimentation was good.
It made her smile,” I’d be pretty worried myself but I mean I’m just 17..it’s not like it’s a big deal.” Though it kinda felt like it. But everything had its moment and An wasn’t in a rush to do anything.
“Definitely not,” Shishido agreed mostly to be a good supportive friend. “And it’s not like kissing is always that great anyway.” It was with Yuushi, but he’d had both amazing and horrible kisses with girls in the past. He’d be more than happy to have kissed less people if it meant missing out on the wet slobbery or bitey kisses.
Shaking his head to clear the bad thoughts, Shishido started up his game of choice, the new Super Mario Bros game. “Tell me you’ve at least heard of Mario.” He clicked through the start credits and selected his own character before helping An with hers.
“Like I said I wouldn’t know but I’ll take your word for it.” An said continuing to smile. She didn’t want to seem bothered by it and she was sure Shishido probably didn’t want to really talk about this subject with her.
She may not play video games all to much but she wasn’t that stupid, “ Of course I know who Mario is. I think I played the original but I’ve never played it on the Wii”
“The wii version is awesome. You’ll see when we get going,” Shishido said getting the first level going and hoping that An would follow his lead. “And you know,” He started and then paused as he tried to get a tricky box, “you could do more than take my word for it.” There were plenty of guys, and probably girls, who would be more than happy to give An her first kiss. He wouldn’t say no.
An was following his lead for the most part and she was surprised that her character hadn’t died yet. She keep her eyes on the screen to make sure she wasn’t going to do something stupid, “What do you mean by that?”
“Huh?” Shishido said only half paying attention as he tried to get them through a rough section. He then looked over at her as the question registered, “Well, you’re pretty and there’s tons of good looking guys and girls on campus so just go pick one and experiment. Trust me, experimenting is fun.”
She looked at him and raised an eyebrow, she wasn’t so sure about that, “ First of all I’m straight and second I’m not about to go up to someone and be like “Hey let’s make out.” That’s just weird, shouldn’t it just happen?”
“What does being straight or not have to do with kissing?” Shishido asked. And while he did understand that attraction did help to make a kiss more exciting, that was no reason why a little experimenting couldn’t happen between two straight female friends if An wanted it to. He’d seen it in movies before. He thought it was pretty hot.
“And asking isn’t that weird,” He added after a moments thought. Asking nicely could get you a lot of things in his experience.
All An was saying was she wasn’t about to kiss some girl, it was weird thinking about it but shook her head anyways, “Either way, I’m not going to just ask someone, I’d prefer it to just happen and then just go with the flow.” She said to him before turning back to the screen and getting a mushroom. Maybe she was weird for thinking that but she would most likely die before she ever asked someone to experiment with her.
“Really?” Shishido asked. He then shrugged and hit pause on the game and waited for An to look at him before leaning over and pressing a fast kiss to her lips. He was proud there was only minimal nose bumpage considering the bad angle. He pulled back and grinned at her, “Like that?” He hoped that she wouldn’t punch him now.
Seeing that he paused the game An turned back to ask him why he did only to be met with a kiss. Which in turn made her drop her controller and stare at Shishido with big eyes. Ok, she was not expecting that and it made her turn red, why did she have to open her big mouth! All she could do now was just nod her head at him. Well there went her first kiss. Better now then never.
After a few seconds passed and he hadn’t been punched he relaxed and unpaused the game. “You okay there?” He asked as he noticed that An wasn’t quite back in the game with him.
Snapping out for her daze she picked up the controller and started to play again, “ I’m fine, just was surprised that’s all.” It hadn’t been that bad really it had just been a simple kiss on the lips that’s all, no need to still be blushing.
Shishido nodded, that was to be expected when someone stole a first kiss. But he still hadn’t been punched and he was feeling rather bold after his recent experimenting with Yuushi. “Want me to kiss you again?” He asked.
She had to think about that for a bit. Well he was asking her and really, what else was there to kissing? An took a breath, “Ok.” She still felt weird about all this but she’d never know until she actually tried.
“Really? Great.” Shishido grinned at his luck and then paused the game again before shifting closer to An, “Here, move a little,” He helped shift them until they would be a bit more comfortable and this time took his time moving closer to An and pressing his lips gently against hers.
The color from her face didn’t seem to want to go away, even if she kept telling herself everything was fine. An did as Shishido told her and moved closer to him.”Like this?” It made her almost kinda nervous being so close. Why did she say yes!? It didn’t help much that when he did kiss her she wasn’t exactly sure what to do. Thinking about what she had at least seen before she kissed him back gently.
Shishido continued to coax An into kissing him more, being slow and gentle so she could mimic his moves. He was pleased that An was picking it up pretty fast and decided to push things a little further. He moved his hand to rest on her side, and then he slowly opened his mouth so his tongue could trace the edges of An’s lips, hoping she’d part her lips so he could deepen the kiss.
So far kissing didn’t seem so bad, but there were still things she wasn’t sure off. Keeping her eyes closed certainly helped her from being all to embarrassed about what she was doing but her face still was hot. An twitched lightly when Shishido touched her sides but then relaxed. She seriously can’t be such a scardy cat! Feeling his tongue on her lips she wasn’t all too sure on what to do but An wasn’t about to back down now. Hesitating she parted her lips to him.
Shishido made a soft sound of approval as he felt An’s lips part and carefully ghosted his tongue in and beside hers. He tried to keep the kiss gentle and after a while forced himself to pull back before he could get carried away. “You’re a good kisser,” He said. And it was true, even if An was horribly novice at it she hadn’t drooled on him or done anything unappealing.
Her eyes opened up in surprised, it was a very odd to feel Shishidos tongue in her mouth but at the same time it kinda wasn’t though she almost bit him in reflex to it.That would have been so embarrassing..well more then it already was. Pulling back, she took a breath and looked away from Shishido, “ I still don’t feel like I am.” There was no way she could be, don’t those things take time?
“Nah, you’re good. You just need more practice.” Feeling bold, Shishido leaned in and gave her another brief kiss.
“Practice, huh? Well at least I tried...” She licked her lip once he pulled away.An was starting to actually feel less embarrassed by all this now.
“Yup. Practice makes perfect and all that stuff,” Shishido said as sagely as he could. “Come on, let’s play. We can probably get through a few levels before you need to get back.” He poked her in the side and then grabbed his own controller to get the game started again.
An smiled and gave him a nod before swatting his hand away and picking back up her controller, “Yeah,lets see if we can actually save Peach.”
