things one learns on the internet

In my Sunday boredom, I have been watching a marathon of Little People, Big World on TLC. Being of short stature, this show has a certain draw to it.

The things I have learned while browsing the internet this evening:

I'm only an inch and a half away from being considered a "little person"

Proportionate dwarfism is a condition in which your limbs, trunk, and head are proportionate relative to height. This condition is often remedied by a regiment of hormanal drugs. When I was younger, I underwent a hormone regiment... since I'm only one and half inches away from being a "little person," does this mean that I am, or was, a proportionate dwarf?
Well, no, not really... but that's an intriguing thought. I'm well aware that dwarfism is genetic and I do not have any genes for that -- as I know from a visit to the Greenwood Genetic Center when I was 10. Still, I can't help but have some interest in the topic.

Another thing I discovered on the internet tonight -- It is quite realistic and feasible for a single woman to adopt a child -- sometimes I wonder about these things when I'm being silly.

Anywho....

EDIT: Also, I looked up my birthday online. I already knew that I shared a birthday with Shakespeare and Shirley Temple. I discovered, however, that I have the same birthday as Michael Moore (yes, the crazy documentary guy). Also, by birthday is National Beer Day in Germany. Hellz yeah!
