Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. While I have yet to actually start playing because the dear housemate has first dibs, she's let me bash about in her game a lil so far and I've watched her play from the start so:
First of all - I am simply adoring all the present day assassin stuff. I will probably be one of the minority it seems in this since everyone is mostly about the Renaissance crew (which I also adore) but so far it's been fantastic not only seeing more of them but actually making/seeing Desmond DO things other than sit in the Animus. Also the team bonding/snark/EMAILS are probably the most adorable things ever.
Actually inside the Animus with Ezio - the game mechanics are just sublime. Faster, smarter AI that have no reserves in beating the shit out of Ezio in mass packs, horse riding pretty much everywhere, Ezio and Machiavelli SNARK...it's all good. Pretty much the most epic thing is Claudia running a brothel. Yes you heard me. She volunteers when the madam is murdered and during a rather heartbreaking scene with Ezio shows she is every bit as awesome as he is - and has no reserves in letting him know she feels he abandoned her.
Only a few hours into the game play really but I can't wait to actually get my hands on it myself.
