I'm wearing my contacts right now and these have got to be the fuckweijfksjdf weirdest things ever.
I mean, I've gone most of my life in glasses, and without them, I'm used to seeing myself as just this blobby blur. Now that I'm wearing contacts and I look at myself in the mirror, I can't get over how fucking alien I look without glasses. Chris and pretty much everyone else says I look fine, but my glasses are like my security blanket. I'm supposed to wear these contacts for two weeks to see if I react allright to them, but I think after that I'm just going right back to glasses.
I think it's also hilarious that my mom shelled out 80 bucks for contacts that'll last me three months. Then again, she thinks I'll look prettier without glasses and I'm inclined to disagree.
Speaking of which! I'm also getting these gnarly new glasses and they're blaaackk and they're really cool and I'll have them by next week.
