UConn 92-71 over L'ville
Louisville hung around and played some great ball. Angel McCoughtry hung 30 on the Huskies before fouling out late in the game.
I wouldn't be surprised if L'ville just misses out on the top 25 after this performance. They were monsters in the paint.
And the played "PACK THE HOUSE" and brought in 19,000 fans for the game - just amazing! And the crowd was so into it for L'ville - heckling and just being loud.
Refs called a very tight game - 2 L'ville players fouled out at the end and UConn had 3, maybe 4 players with 4 fouls each.
Three pointers by UConn's guards and some awful foul-line shooting by L'ville contributed to the win.
I think this will help UConn as it prepares for UNC on the 21st. As CD (Chris Daily, UConn Associate Head Coach) said after the game, "If felt a lot closer than it ever was."
