Life updates
So as I type this, I'm currently transferring files from my old HD to my external hard drive. I converted my old desktop HD to an external and after fiddling with how to get access to files, I'm happy to see that I haven't lost my music or other important things.
That said, I've already bought a new laptop and desktop. Laptops for me are just babies, I love having my desktop so it was really unfortunate when both bit the dust lol. Anyway I just realized that with the new desktop I should probably go ahead and upgrade on a lot of things. I was still using CS2 on the old desktop and even though I had newer copies, I was too lazy to install. I think we're on CS4 now? Or whatever, either way I guess I'll spend this weekend doing that if I have time. I've had my laptop sitting around and haven't gone about setting it up. Since it's windows 7, I decided to go ahead and use the old busted laptop for the file transfer since it's XP.
In other news, I really can't wait for my loans to come in, I definitely did some transferring of money here and there because the original laptop I wanted went up in price (luckily I found another one I liked for cheaper) and I was scared the same would happen to the desktop. My room still looks a mess but once I settle in I think I'll be excited. My desktop is going to be pretty suped up. It's got 1TB of storage and an i7 processor :) It should be a good investment for another 5 to 6 years (hopefully more!!)
