Busy Little Beaver
With Christmas coming up, I have just been a busy little lady. We are hosting Christmas at our house this year. This is our first house that we've owned so it means something special to me to have it at our house. I can do the whole Santa Claus thing with Zoey this year. It'll be fun!
At any rate, because I was off of work for three months this year without pay due to Maternity leave I'm pretty much poor, so Zoey and I have been going crazy making stuff. For all of the extended family (grandmas/grandpas/cousins) we made 3-d star ornaments out of cardboard & paper that are all decorated to match their personalities. We made Christmas place mat things with family pictures on them.All kinds of decorations for the house. For my brother, I made a fleece blanket and for Dan and Ian I silk screened some shirts for them. Along with all of that, I've managed to shop and wrap gifts. Also, I've printed out all kinds of pictures of the kids and mailed them in the Christmas Cards for the family that doesn't get to see them.
Now, I'm in the middle of making address/birth date books for all of my close friends. And now, I get to plan for Christmas dinner. I feel extremely accomplished.
