Oh man, I haven't cleaned out from my car trip to California yet, so right now there is my giant knitting bag, jewelry boxes full of earrings and all my "desk items" for this month at home, half a dozen empty water bottles, the red striped tote bag I got for free from a British ladies magazine, a sunhat, three pairs of shoes, my computer, three nautical themed belts, and a stack of books. I'd like to pretend my car is usually cleaner than that, but its just not.

San Francisco to Munich. The flight that felt the longest was Detroit to Seattle stuck in between smelly strangers on the way back from DC a couple years ago.

The jammies that it took an effing village to complete. I bought the pattern, the green, red, and orange retro spotted fabric, and sewed the bottoms myself over Christmas. I tried to sew the top myself, but needed my mom and grandma and great aunt to help me finish the complicated parts and make the button holes. The good news is, they're adorable and were worth the effort.

All the time. My grandmother insists on washing her car ridiculously often, yet doesn't know how to drive through the wash by herself.
