Oh please, god, not a post about television!
Who's watching Top Model tonight? I might. I don't know. For several cycles now there has been no one remotely interesting or likable, least of all Tyra Banks. Casual and sporadic watching of the daytime Tyra Banks show has turned me into a full-time Tyra hater, and I'm reaching that uncomfortable place in my reality show watching career where I can see and am infuriated by the editing tricks the producers pull like glaring nudie bar flourescent lights, all flashing boobs and fakeness.
Dear producers of Top Model,
No one is fooled into thinking Jade has "potential." We all know you're keeping her around for the ratings. Fuck you for insulting our intelligence by pretending otherwise. Also, I think it's annoying that you keep batshit crazy pseudo-models on the show to create drama, but you got rid of the only genuinely entertaining batshit crazy judge - Janice. Oh, you think it's my problem for continuing to watch the show even though I've technically hated it for at least two years now? Well, you might be right. Okay, carry on with your sucking.

For those of you who care about my television watching proclivities, I'm seriously considering going on a reality show hiatus. All of the dirty, worthless, guilty pleasure shows I used to love so much are just making me bored and violently angry these days. I think I'm getting old, because I can't even watch the Real World anymore. And I should probably be thankful for that, because I don't think I was going to stop watching it on my own. I never thought I'd get tired of a job where I get to watch tv all day, but I am. Soooo tired of all of it.
Except, of course, for Flavor of Love 2. When that comes out, I'm going to watch it like my life depends on it.
