First Post, not sure what to call it
Mother would like me to practice my languages, and so I will be updating this journal in Japanese and English, as they are my second and third languages. When I become lazy, I will write in French.
So, the spring season in Paris is beginning and the new outfits are just lovely. Many of mother's friends are in the design business, so I've been asked to model quite a bit. I must say it's rather exhausting and I would rather be focusing on my studies, but Mother says I must do what is expected of me. I will be choosing where to attend college this coming autumn and I don't feel ready at all for the entrance exams. I've been thinking of attending college in Japan and getting away from everything in France for at least a few years. There is something charming about the Japanese people. Also the loss of my favorite maid, Anne-Sophie, has been rather hard and as she has gone to Japan, I think it would be good to see her again.
Well, I'm off to Monsieur D'Levre's chateau for tea with Father. He has dealings in the Tonnerre company, which Father is very concerned about. My parents are always saying "networking is important" but I think the whole thing is rather silly.
