(no subject)
I wonder why I have horrible brain-splittin headaches at least once a day. It sucks. It hurts to open my eyes or anything. No matter where I'm at I have to put my hands over my eyes and put my fingers in my ears to soften the noise. They usually go away after 5-10 minutes or so. I've gotten used to them because it's been happening for like 4 years. I hope it's just that Josh fractured my skull with that durn baseball bat when I was 5 and not that I have a brain tumorw or something.
anyways, so I got a call today from Elwyn Thomas's (The Rep. for our area for the Alabama House of Representitives) wife. Apparently, I've been chosen for the page program in Montgomery. HOOORRAAAH! I'll get to miss 4 days of school, excused of course; stay in a nice, fancy hotel; work in committees in the house, since I'm paging for the house. I also get to meet all the house people and what not and run their errands (yay?). But I am very, very excited about this. Not only will I get to learn a hell of a lot, I'll get to get a chance for some scholarship money (Hello Elwyn Thomas, I need money for college.haha.) Plus they pay me 75 dollars a day to be a page. woo! I'm paging the first week of may and while I'm down there I get to talk to Aderholt about paging in D.C. and I won't get molested because I'm not a boy. haha.
yeah, I'm pretty excited.
I'm not excited because I have a scholar's bowl tournament/workshop thing on the 9th that lasts until like 10pm. Fuck that. I want to go to the show. !@#$%
and the 15th-18th I'm going to Universal Studios on Band Trip. hoorah!
God, I'm really, really, really a geek. But I sort-of like it =]
