Yesterday I started my real job, finally, officially. I have benefits, a salary, and some security. I can finally stop depending on my parents for money and insurance and that's a good feeling.
Two weeks ago I went out and bought a set of silverware. It wasn't expensive, but for the first time since I left home, all the silverware matches.
I think when I looked toward the future to guess what adulthood would be like, it seemed like you got out of college, got that full-time job, and just transformed into an adult. But here I am six months out of college almost, and I am still me.
