Managed to catch Thank you for Smoking(seems like it didn't end yet o.O) this tuesday and I was rather surprised by a nearly full cinema *winces* The film's not about smoking as one would expect from the title, nor the evils of smoking (in fact, not one person lights up in the movie) although it does set the backdrop for the show. I thought Aaron Eckhart performance was great, Katie Holmes ho hum and loved Rob Lowe's small role as a big time Hollywood agent - Hilarious. Best quote in the movie? "The beauty of argument is that if you argue correctly, you're never wrong."

Bought Garden State the same night. The moment where Natalie Portman and Zach Braff shares their first scene where she passes her headphones to him to listen and The Shins New Slang plays while the camera switches focus between their faces and you could tell they connected... Beautiful.
