I got into glasses because I was blind.
I got into high index plastic to make my hugely thick glasses thinner, and thus somewhat more appealing...
I got into contact lenses to get away from glasses altogether, and to get some periphery back.
I got into implants to get away from the potential dangers of contact lenses and to get even better vision.
Annnnd...now they're gonna put me back into glasses again. After my second surgery.
Yes, there's a perfectly good reason why they're doing it, and it ends with a very simple statement: "Do this, and you will see better than you ever have in your entire life."
Still...dust to dust, as it were. Full circle. Is that ironic?
