God damn, I loved that stupid mouse. I loved the way he would climb all over the walls of his cage, and try to walk on the ceiling. I loved the way he slept-- all curled up in his little orange-shaped hut.
I loved the way Algae (al-gee, a nickname) would run so fast in his wheel, he would be almost vertical. I loved the way he ate his treats-- though I suspect he was imitating Riki, my other mousebaby.
It seems like we didn't even have our year and a half together-- it seems like time went by much faster. Now he's gone to whereever he's going, and I'm still here.
I'll miss "The Amazing Spidermouse". I'll miss "Al" and "Algae" and "Frootloop". I'm gonna miss my baby.
