Squee! I am so excited to see you posted more transIations! I'm not kidding, just yesterday as I was washing dishes and listening to 老人与海 by 海鸣威, I thought how I missed your translations and how you must be so busy with school. Then I started wondering when your semester would be over haha.
And one more squee for you choosing this song! I have loved it for so long but never attempted to translate it. I knew it was pretty sad because poor Xiao Gang sings it like his heart is breaking. I don't know if my heart can take listening to him AND actually understanding the words lol! Thank you, thank you for the translation!
(One little thing, the pinyin for gan jue and cuo jue came out as gan jiao & cuo jiao :)

haha me again. While Xiao Gang always sings with a lot of emotion, it was actually 出賣 I was thinking of where he sings like his heart is breaking. Also, I meant to tell you I finally listened to his new album. Well, actually I've listened to the 1st half of the album like 5 times because every time I come back to it I have to start at the beginning because it's so good.

So nice of you to think of me ♥ my semester is ALMOST over. Exams in a few weeks. Last pre-clinicals semester actually, so last semester in uni with classrooms. After that, off to the hospitals. *is scared & excited* :)

Xiao Gang's music are always sooo sad. Maybe its his voice. And most of the lyrics are on broken love. I can't listen to them too long before my heart feels heavy, even though I haven't had the 'privilege' to fall out of love before :) I'll translate 出卖 too. Not sure what to translate next anyway. ooh, thanks for pointing the wrong pin yin out. I remember when I first started, I use to check them and then now I'm just lazy :D

You're going to translate 出卖 too?!!! YAAAY! I've tried before but still couldn't quite understand parts of it... so I'm VERY excited.
There is one more word of pinyin to change in Huang Hun - 3rd line "hang" should been "xing". I only noticed because I am determined to LEARN EVERY WORD OF THIS SONG! LOL.
You're right about Xiao Gang's music. Even his "Happiness Etudes" songs are tinged with melancholy. I think it IS his voice.

Hi I am a big fan of Xiao Gang,
I was actually trying to look for a translation of Chu Mai too because it's a pretty good song. Actually, a lot of Xiao Gang's music are good. I came across this site while trying to find a translation for Chu Mai. I couldn't help but read what you guys wrote and it seems that I am too not only in love with his lost/unrequited/ broken etc love songs but I am also in love with Xiao Gang's amazing voice! And nice Huang Hun translation. If you can get some more of his songs translated such as Chu Mai, I will be a happy ducky! Thanks
