Comntemplating more degrees...

So, I know I won't be satisfied with my education so far, and being a first year teacher will give me LOADS of free time.

But I think as soon as I feel I can manage it, I want to start an MA in Literature. For every useful degree I get, I'm giving myself one useless one. ;P Three reasons I'd like to do this: 1) I'm a nerd and I love and miss being in an environment where we discuss and analyze literature on a high level, and I haven't been able to get that in isolated courses I've taken at local schools; 2) I can teach college courses as an adjunct with a MA; 3.) I increasingly feel drawn to postcolonial/multicultural literature and I didn't get as much of that as I'd like in my undergrad experience.

However, I also love teaching science and possibly math (not to mention that the grading would most likely be easier), and I'm good at it--I've been doing it for years at an informal level. In this and most other states, you now need a degree or a requisite amount of courses in one science to get certified. I took courses in science, but not enough in any one to be enough (I thought about a bunch of double majors before just deciding to stop because I wanted to go abroad.). It's difficult to take hard science classes part time while working full time, though, because of the labs.

So, I'm wondering which I should do first. I'll miss either if I don't get any of it at all!
