Today my mentor teacher had her British Literature students listen to Penny Lane and All You Need Is Love while doing a freewriting activity. Then she had some of the student share their writings and thoughts. One of the students said,

"Yeah, I'm not really into the Beatles that much. I usually like stuff with more complex lyrics like Bright Eyes."

Um, yeah...
