(no subject)
Still grumbling my way through PC laptop hell. I find one I like, then someone talks me out of it. I am about to the point where I go eeny meeny miney mo....
School starts tomorrow and as far as I can tell Firefox works fine with most of their applications. This block I take a writing course and a course designed for online students to learn to get around. Kind of like frosh orientation. I am psyched that I will have a BS in 2 years and a few months.
Work rocks. I have the cushiest, fun job in the world. Doesn't pay diddly but I get perks. Free skin damage (cause if I say tanning, my 2 little friends will correct me) and extremely discounted hair care and product as well as nail services. I already bought a pair of pink Gurkee flip flops for 10 bucks. PINK GURKEES RAWK!!!! I have a key already, turnover is high, so I will have a raise and a title before too long. There is almost NO stress, other than a small (very small) sales goal I must reach every month but I am not worried. I work M-W-F- and every other Sat. Hours are cheeseball and no leate evenings so I am free to act like a young 20-something if I so choose. My boss is a doll....she owns a salon in Bixby (she lives in BA so I never see her) and she also is a litigator of some sorts. She is a step below a lawyer and above a paralegal? I dunno, but she is young and cool. I didn't think I would fit in, but somehow I do so rock on....
