Friiidaaayyyy!
Wow, it's been a while since last I wrote....as usual. It's a lovely, quiet Friday eve. My bosses are gone, as are my co-workers who left shortly after my bosses. I suppose I would leave too were it not for the rather still, small voice (that sounds a bit like my mother) which keeps saying, "You didn't ask for permission to go, so you'll sit right there, little missy." So.... here I sit.
On the bright side, it's prime journal updating time, & just in the nick of time too. Eric has informed me that he's catching up to me in journal posts, so I shall conveniently use this opportunity to pull ahead. Ha! Take that!
Anatomy has been fun. We're just starting the Nervous System... good times. I've been doing well so far. I had the highest grade in class, until this sneaky little wench passed me up on the lab practical. Being second best is alright, but I was looking forward to being the supreme-overlord nerd. I was actually hated by some of my class-mates! I heard them talking shit about me when they didn't know I was there. I've never had someone dislike me because I did too well in a class. It's an all new & different hatred of me! ;)
Hey! I just got a $50 gift certificate to Tony Romas! I've never been there. I hope it's good. Hmmmm, that might make for an excellent dinner tonight!
Well, I guess that about sums up the many wonderous things I've seen since my last post. With luck, the next update will include tales even more astonishing than these. Yes, I hear your gasp. It's quite possible that there is nothing more astonishing than this.... rest assured, I will test the theory & return with my findings.
