So I have TWO Livejournals...
Yes, it appears I have doppleganger LJ's; stelluci and echo_starlite are both active somehow, even though both have been terribly neglected for more than a year. My Photobucket and MySpace accounts are still around, as is the good ol' Pit Of Voles account (Eff Eff Dot Net, you interminable bitch...)
So where have I been?
The Tax Department.
New York State Department of Taxation and Give-Me-Your-Money-Bitch. Stealing from rich and poor alike, giving to nobody but the bureaucracy and loving it. I mean, what's not to love about $36k salaried, plus benefits and holidays? I get plenty of vacation time and I can sit on my ass all day long and run the lives of others. Super-awesome-score.
I'm aso back in school. Yeah, so much for that journalism degree, right? Seems ages since I last wrote anything, actually, and I barely miss it. Criminal justice this time around, and hopefully it'll stick; I took a couple civil service exams, and I'm looking to head down to NYC in the near future and try my hand at their PD test. For now I take full-time classes and work full-time as well.
My XBox is dead, my TV is dead, and I haven't exercised in ernest for more than 6 months. I want both or either or something that will get me working out again for Chanukah, but that seems vastly unlikely....
As for the rest of my social life, I have an ever-dwindling circle of friends. I play D&D on Sunday's when I have the chance, though that's sporadic at best. My boyfriend-of-the-day is here and gone, most of the time, so I angst about that frequently. I spend all my time online when I get home, either watching LP's on Something Awful or chatting away with complete strangers.
Adn I cosplay. Oh yeah that.
Hopefully I'll have some stuff done in a week for Anime Boston. I say hopefully because I seem to take on ever-increasing amounts of work, none of which can I complete, and I wind up in a mire of unfinished unpleasantry until I just throw my hands in the air and walk away from everything. Yeah, I'm a winner all right, can you tell?
So I'm going nowhere and doing nothing. I didn't really expect anything shocking or fantastic out of life, anyway, so this is just fine with me. Now if only I could actually make myself believe that...
