[ Lamb has been spending a lot of time in her part of the practice lately. Not for the influx of patients, mind, everyone seems to be doing splendidly with their destructive therapy, it's just that her room... but, well, never mind that. ]Five days. Five days, I believe, since the mansion has stopped regenerating itself. If this is merely an ( Read more... )

"The closets are working. And the kitchen...well, it was." He's a little miffed about the stove.

"...Why is everyone so interested in breaking things?"
The mirrors especially, he couldn't help but notice.

"Was? What happened?"

She suspects it may have fallen victim to happy explosion week as well, but she neither frequents the kitchen, nor did she see Tim's feed, so she can't be sure.

"Many of the people have been trapped here for a very long time, others simply longer than they can stand. No matter how they express their disagreement, it usually does not have an impact on the mansion. Now that it does I suppose the people wish to make themselves heard, so to speak."

"Someone broke it. Understandable, I guess."
Wanton destruction isn't really part of Mark's makeup, but he can use his imagination.

"Maybe it won't be able to keep us here much longer."

He was going to ask Lamb about Rapture, and her part in it, but if the mansion is falling apart anyway, it's not really relevant.

Suspicion confirmed. Lamb too understands, but by no means approves of all the destruction.

"Yes. Maybe."

She forgets that this is the part where she is supposed to add something like 'one can only hope', but for herself Wonderland dying is hardly an idea that carries any hope... or appeal whatsoever.

Unlike most here she has nothing to return to and if Wonderland dies, then so does she and all the ideals she has so desperately been trying to preserve.

[ Alex's carpet glitters. Who's to say whether the resolution of these screens allows a close inspection, but if you use your imagination I'm sure you could hit on the idea of shattered, stamped-on mirror glass. It's actually only what he couldn't get out of the carpet; the rest has gone down the toilet.

Also there is canned food piled up the walls. ]

You think we might be able to cross the sea?

[ There's a spark in his voice (and a crocodile egg on his desk) that wasn't there before. ]

[ She will be focusing on the egg first. ]

[ Okay, good. Now to Alex's question and the answer may not me as promising after all. ]

If Wonderland is failing, so to speak, then there is a possibility, yes. Although... it appears that so far Wonderland's other properties remain unchanged.

[ He has no love for the egg and will be studeously ignoring it until further notice. ]

Yeah.

[ Aaaand the spark is out. But it was there for a moment, which is a minor miracle in recent weeks. He got up and got dressed this morning, jeez, what else do you people want from him?

He linefaces at the hoarded food. ]

[ She may have to come up with a more optimistic addition to that later on, but for now she follows his gaze to the food items she knows only too well. ]

Have you been preparing for something?
