You're in charge of the clinic?

I am. It was originally created by a man called Doctor Tam, but when he left Wonderland I decided to look after it in addition to my practice, at least until a more suitable replacement can be found.

I see. May I ask where it is located and what your particular practice is?

The medical clinic is the tenth room on the fourth floor; you will find my practice adjacent to it, room eleven. I specialise in psychiatry.

Have you run into any difficulty treating anyone here? [Just curious; he wanted to know how universal medicine or even psychiatry was.]

Not so far. My speciality sets some limits, of course, but I have recently started working with a number of volunteers; some of them possess what I view as more traditional medical knowledge, others are capable of using magic to heal.

Regrettably not all those in need of medical assistance seek the clinic. And some of those who may wish to... do not always make it here on time.

...That is as far as the medical clinic is concerned. [ She sighs. Her own psychiatric practice is a different story entirely. ]

... I see. Are most of the events dangerous enough warrant medical care, such as the last one? [The question was not to dismiss the clinic or its purpose, but only to get a feel for the types of events that took place.

Yet all of the events could potentially warrant psychiatric care to some degree.] Have people come to speak with you at your practice?

My apologies, I should have introduced myself sooner. I am Dr Sofia Lamb.

Perhaps not most of them, but a number certainly incorporate dangerous elements. However what I believe to be worse is that they are often quite capable of turning residents against each other.

As such I believe it is vital to have medical care available at all times... and I thank you for your assistance.

Now, as far as my practice is concerned, I... admit it is not quite so easy to maintain. In my world creatures and monsters are hardly more than figments of our imagination. In other worlds they are a real threat which I cannot merely dismiss as a delusion.

Situations are different here. I am used to provide counsel for those whose loved ones have passed away, however to discuss a person's own death and his resurrection... is a new concept to me

[She had some very good points about the differences between the worlds and the issue of death in Wonderland. He hadn't minded hearing her perspective on the situation, and in fact had welcomed it. It gave him more to think about while in a new and seemingly inescapable world.]

Did you encounter any of the creatures from this event? [Because those were very real even if they hadn't sprung from his memories.]

But I agree; having someone who can listen will be helpful in light of the events. You have someone to turn to as well?

[ Lamb nods and smiles at his introduction, then answers his last question first. ]

I have been here for several months now and was fortunate enough to make a number of acquaintances.

[ Another nod while answering. If it looks like a yes and sounds like a yes then it's probably... Lamb skirting the issue. She's never been the one to acknowledge her own problems, let alone share them. She is not about to start now. ]

As for the creatures...

[ Lamb briefly thinks about the question. ]

I was not attacked once and found it almost surprising, given what I heard about them on the network. I spotted perhaps two or three creatures at most and was able to avoid them all on time.

...I did however have a prolonged encounter with the one who bore my own face. I am given to understand that most or perhaps all residents have experienced the same?

[Minato also nodded in response. She had been generous enough to set up a practice to listen to others, and it was only fair that she could speak to someone as well. It was good to hear that she did to some extent.]

I'm glad you didn't run into them. Avoiding them was the best thing. [It wasn't uncommon that there were those who could or knew how to avoid the Shadows.]

Yes. I heard the same. Those Shadows were more dangerous that the ordinary ones that roamed the Mansion.

Do you merely speak from observation or are you more familiar with the creatures?

[ Granted, the event is over now, but a little extra information can never hurt. ]

Somewhat familiar. Only the minor ones.

The ones that resembled the residents were new to me.

[And that was true, of course. The event wasn't based on his memories, but it was still surprising that he had seen something that he thought was unique to only his world.]
