2010? Already? Crazy, crazy, crazy.
Anyone remember that commercial, I think it was Allstate? The spokesman was saying: "We were promised flying cars. Where is my flying car? Where?"
Little bit how I feel. Where's the cool technology that, you know, movies and television shows promised us? I have a phone that gets the internet and a lovely desktop computer with only one cord (no tower, everything else is wireless). That's pretty cool. Not anything Jetsons-level cool, but not too bad.
Speaking of movies and television shows, I've seen that people on LJ keep track of the movies they see during the year. Since I have trouble remembering what I did last week, I'm going to do something like that. I'm not sure why, but maybe if I have to write it down, I'll have greater incentive to, you know, see more movies. Who knows.

07. Emma 2009/10 - Masterpiece Classic. Good? No random running around Bath (yet) which is excellent (and would be completely out of place since it doesn't take place in Bath, but whatever). Like JLM more than I thought I would. (Jan.) ETA: OMG WIN! They included my favorite line - the only married woman who is allowed to invite whomever she chooses is Mrs. Knightley, and until she is in being . . . Ha! Yay! Plus the picking strawberries and Donwell Abbey. This makes up for a lot.
08. Cards on the Table (Jan. 30). Hercule Poirot. Finally get the reference in one of Agatha Christie's other books about a bridge party in which one of the four is the murderer (and I'm glad there was a reference to an actual story she wrote and not just a random comment about a potentially good murder plot).
09. Lost. 02-02-10.
