Don't worry, won't happen, I intend on having THREE SQUARE MEALS before hand,( this includes breakfast, lunch with work mates and somethinf in sheffield) last time all I had eaten was the tiny bit of vegetables that was provided by corp. Anyways while you are on what is your opinon on me getting some S.O.P.H.I.E. wristbands to sell?
Not from the merch stall no, sorry. It is not a registered charity, there are no clearly stated aims, I have struggled to find information on it online, I have no idea how it proposes to achieve it's objectives or what any money raised will be spent on.
Fair enough, good point. Was approached by one of the drugs kids I look after at work as apparently she is a neighbour or family friend, may try and get more info though.
I would actually like some info on this SOPHIE campaign because quite a few people have been mentioning it, I'll make no secret that I didn't want to be involved with the fundraising event that is being organised in Sheffield without actually having more details of this 'group', what it's aims are, how it hopes to acheive them and where the money is going. To be honest, it really ought to be registered as a charity if it is continuing to accept donations. That way everything is accountable and above board. I'm not suggesting it isn't, but it's not exactly transparent either. Not to mention, from a fundraising point of view, having registered charity status can be very beneficial.
She lives on the same street as Sophie's family apparently, which is only a short bus journey from my work, which can be scary at times! Right my meaning by drug kids at work as I am the only that has had all the jabs, i can talk to, look after, sometimes clean up all the drug messes that wander in from time to time, this includes full on addicts to kids who just had their first smoke.
