Well I've found some things that are -very- interesting!
VCon is a fantasy and gaming convention. I'm not sure how exactly I came across it. But I'm glad I did! It looks like a lot of fun, and Katie said she'd go with me. Any one else who's interested, just let me know. It isn't until October, so there's lots of time yet. And yes, I plan on going in costume.

I found a really, really good website that does custom work. Their prices are really good, too. You can order an item with their small, medium, large etc. measurements, or email them your own measurements to get it fully customized. I was very impressed when I found this site, but I'm not quite sure what it is I should get or if I should get anything at all until I can find a more common occasion (besides Halloween) to wear it.
