waitlisted at columbia; i denied my spot in the pool. i'll send my emerson reply on monday.
it's not like i wasn't good enough for columbia, and i couldn't have afforded it anyway. plus, core curriculum + theoretical instead of practical knowledge + less specific, passionate, and artistic focus + being poor while living in NYC = not so great. so hey.
even though i never really wanted columbia so much as i wanted the option of columbia, rejection still kind of hurts. eh.
