Lucky 7's, here I come!
Wendover today! I'm rather excited to just be getting out of town. It seems like forever since I've been able to with working all the time and my car having so many damn issues. So, Lucky 7's, here I come!
We're leaving around two this afternoon and coming back sometime tomorrow. Amber and Kathy both have to work tomorrow night, so we'll probably be back fairly early. That's okay. The less time I spend there, the less money I'll lose. ;)
Amber and I have decided to be brave and try the craps tables even though neither of us knows how to play. It's worth trying anyway, right? We are getting a room and everything, which I'll probably end up in first. Gambling is fun, but it's not an obsession with me or anything. And I am limiting how much money I lose. ;)
When we come back, I need to look into trading my car in. I SOOO don't want to. Not only because I don't want another car payment, or I'm worried that my sucky credit will cause me to either get nothing or get something crappy, but...my car is MINE. Paid off and everything and I've had it for like six years. I guess I'm just too sentimentally attached to it.
I'm trying to psych myself up. New car! Air conditioning! Windshield wiper fluid that works! A car that doesn't look ghetto because there's no grill on the front! I also plan to get a custom license plate for this one. Not sure what it'll say, but probably something 30 Seconds to Mars related.
My vacation starts next week, but my only plan is to go out on my birthday. I can't go out of town in my car and I don't know that I'll be able to trade it in before then. I can do stuff around town and such, and I plan to do some major cleaning, but...oh, well. It'll be nice to just not be at work that long.
