Baldur's Gate, Again

If you manage to get a PC with a Strength of 18/00 - go buy a battle axe or sword or mace and then whack someone! 9 times out of 10, they will basically be chopped to pieces, all flying apart - aaah, whatta good feeling! (This against bad folks, of course.) Apparently, if you do a load of damage on someone, they will fly apart, where as normally they just fall down and die. It is also really easy to hit enemies (one swing, and BAKOOM!!). If you have a puny Strength of like 10, well, this will never happen, and it will take you a long time to hit anybody.

It's bad when it happens to your own party, though - I wonder if you can resurrect them if this happens (but I just reload)...

Terrible things that can happen to your party members:

You defeat the enemy, but they managed to charm someone in your party before they all died - the stupid party member, of course, tries to kill you guys constantly, or does something else stupid (runs around into the carrion crawlers, getting killed again). The solution I discovered - beat him senseless with your fists (causing them to go to 1 HP, fall unconscious, but not die - the problem is that they revive again after a short while, so you have to keep whacking them until the spell wears off (like 17 rounds!!)).

Awesome way to kill your enemies:

Equip melee weapons, cast all your strengthening/bless spells, hide in the shadows with a thief and cast Invisible on as many others as you can - then, sneak up on your opponents, taking the best positions (thieves behind someone) and then - ATTACK!!! Backstab for double or triple damage and then keep whacking with your thief, others can go all around the same enemy and whack them to death, giving them no chance to use their ranged weapons.
