And Thus Boredom Ensues!
Well, here I am its Monday at 12:48 in the afternoon, still in my pajamas and haven't showered yet. Why do you ask? Something called spring break, which for me is not going to be that fun since my best friends are in school and I'm not going anywhere. Yes, my best friends (Josh, Krista, and Sarah) are all in school this week (Guilford already had spring break) Then to make it worse my other best friend since 7th grade (SJ) is going to NYC for a few days during which she is going to see Hairspray, Chicago and/or the Producers. Then Aislinn is also in NYC, during the time she will a) see wicked (actually already did that was Friday Night) and b) see Bernadette Peters last performance as Mama Rose in Gypsy... grrr.... WHY CAN'T I MAKE IT TO NYC!!!
Weekend was very normal for me.
Friday Night:
I went to Josh's House and watched Young Frankenstine, Spaceballs, Lion King 1 1/2 and Monty Python's Life Of Brian. We ordered Chinese food, that was wonderful, and he wiped the floor with me in Risk, Chess, Badgammon and Crazy 8s, but I beat him in Go Fish! mwahaha
Saturday:
I went to the City Lake Park Easter Egg Hunt in High Point with Josh, the High Point Youth Council was working there so I decided that I'd go help (and really had not choice since he was my ride home) Well, Josh and I got to....drumroll please....... Dress up as the Easter Bunny!!! Yes, a costume, like those in Disney World or in Parades. He and I would switch off every hour or so as the Easter Bunny. The Head would stay on either, so Sarah and I (when Josh was in suit) or Josh and Sarah (When I was in suit) would have to make sure that the head didn't fall off when he leaned over to hug little kids. Between the three of us we put down two sprites, one coke, one mellow yellow and one cherry drink of some sort. (THAT COSTUME WAS HOT.) At One Point we went in the gym to change the costume from Me to Josh, and a little kid was looking in! I was still in the suit and had taken the head off and they were looking straight at me! So what did I do, grab the head put it back on and hid! Well, then I came home at 1ish (although I was invited over to spend more time with Josh and Sarah, which is rare these days with all our busy schedules grrrrr)! Well, I came home and dug holes for 15 plants, then put down pine needles ... manual labor ick! Well, then I go all ready to go see the Metamorphoses at Guilford, BIG LET DOWN HERE!!! They were out of tickets, and had a 100 person waiting list, needless to say I was now depressed. But lucky me, I got home and had Key Lime Pie, and watched Cheaper by the Dozen which was quite a funny movie and improved my night.
Then Sunday:
Woke up, had breakfast, ate some jelly beans went to church, then to my grandparents for the Afternoon. Came home and did nothing till about 11 until I talked to Josh for about 10 minutes.
So yes this was my weekend semi-eventful, hopefully this Week will improve.
