I have no idea how to classify newspaper article leads (nb: I refuse categorically to spell it 'lede,' on the grounds that I searched for the word in the goddamn dictionary and it wasn't there) as 'good' or 'bad' as demanded by my homework assignment. A lead says 'who did what where why and how' pretty much rote. I guess if it does not, it is 'bad.'

I am meeting with Geoff Edgers, an arts reporter at the Globe, tomorrow. I am to interview him. I think I know what to talk about but I'm nervous and I shit you not

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR.

Since this is a professional thing, should I dress up? But I'm going straight from work, so I'll be in a collared shirt (untucked) and is that too much? Then again since he and I both ostensibly work for the Globe, should this even matter?

Probably not.

It gnaws at me. I've been very shaky all day. It might have to do with the coffee I've been drinking.
