What to do, what to do...

My first entry. As of yet, I have little clue as what to do with this. Random babble? That sounds only okay. I can shout FART in caps lock, but why do so? Game reviews? Nah, I get few of the newer releases, and I'm sure many people would be much better at it. But going through various game challenges, validating the possibility of accomplishing the possibly impossible, completely and utterly laying waste to self-exalted masters? I like that. I see that the days of HAcoreRD gaming have long faded from home consoles. No longer do children have respect for their older brothers and sisters who persevered through the muck and mire to make sure they grew up with Super Smash Brothers, and not Zero Wing. Gone are the youthful days of annihilating a game's obstacles with the mystic skill that is somehow imbued in the child gamers of the early '90s.

When I was a child, a video game was an obstacle. Yes they were fun, and in the cases of games like Final Fantasy, helped develop my reading and math skills into the second grade level before I met my kindergarten teacher. But that fun came not only from watching the victory dance for the first time, not just from hearing Ryu scream "HaDOUken!" after several days of feeble thumb-sliding, and most certainly not from seeing Dr. Wily beg for mercy at my feet. It came from overcoming the obstacles before each of those moments. And I find that I am happiest just after I overcome obstacles. Roller coasters without slopes are merely a toddler's choo-choo train.

So I present myself with a obstacle of my own: play a game in a way that doesn't just increase the difficulty(how many times has someone played a Solo Character Challenge?), but in a way that bends the way the game was meant to be played. Have you gone through South Figaro without stealing? Have you killed Emerald Weapon with one Person, without the use of KoR or Underwater at Lv. 91? I had 1:36 on the clock for that one.

End of test. !!!!!11!!1!!1oneoneeleven
