"Flava Flave!"

Wow, I just had a kira_ job scene afternoon.

I woke up really late, around 4:00pm, and found waiting for me in the fridge a Togo's sandwich. Then I found a message on the answering machine for me from FYE, Suncoast and Sam Goody, letting me know that I have until October 31 to convert my old MediaPlay Rewards Card (a now defunct chain owned by Music Land, previous parent company of Suncoast and Sam Goody) to a new upgraded reward card for free. I think I'll pass, considering there aren't any stores in their chain anywhere close to here, and the one store I did go to, Media Play, was not only located a good 40-minute drive from here, but is closed now, anyway. Next I was considering going to the mall or something, maybe pick up a game from EBX, but then decided against it, since I never find anything that catches my eye there, and I really don't much care for the people that work there. Plus, it's not like I really need another game at the moment.

I was wondering, what would be next, a sudden impulse to go to Lowes? Thankfully, no. I mean, I work in a hardware store anyway, and I don't even know where the closest store would be; there certainly aren't any around that I've seen. And, that pisses me off, too. There are a crapload of commercials for Lowes that air on TV, but there aren't any stores near by. It's just like Sonic Drive-In. There a commercial that airs practically every ten minutes on various channels. Do you know how many Sonic restaurants there are in California? Like, six. Total. Do you know where the closest one is from here? Seriously, like, 80 miles away.

[Edit: Okay, I embellished a bit. I actually went to Sonic's Website to look up their locations, and there are 10 within a 200 mile radius, the closest being 49 miles away. But still. With the time it would take to cross the bridge to get there, and then drive all the way back, it would take a MINIMUM hour and a half, just for some drive-in fast food.]

In other news, I seriously don't understand how I end up with so many typos in my writing. It's not just incorrect spelling, which believe me, strains spell check to its max, but I end up with totally incorrect words. Substituting "my" for "me," for example. Happens all the time. I guess it must be the meth. I know, I gotta quit. Also, inaniloquent needs to stop trying to understand Linkin Park. I openly admit I'm quite fond of their music, but it's best if one tries not to understand what they're actually saying.
