I've been making a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches lately. In order to change things up and to make them more like a meal, I've been adding things. I added some onions to get a vegetable in there and add some texture. I wanted some protein too so I threw in some leftover steak.

It occurred to me today as I was making lunch that I may in fact be re-inventing the cheesesteak sandwich.
