Forgot to update this. So much for that.

Tomorrow it'll be a week off gluten. I haven't completely cut out sugar, but I've substantially decreased my intake. Most of the sugary things I used to eat were also full of gluten, so it's not like I can eat them anyway.

Bad thing is I ate a really delicious piece of gluten-free coconut cake at French Meadow the other night, and it was so sugary it made me sick.

I can't remember all I've eaten, but I have been out to eat twice (for dinner at French Meadow and for brunch at Muddy Waters) and both times were good. I had edamame dumplings, free-range chicken, and brussel sprouts for dinner. For breakfast I had Cuban breakfast with beans+rice, over-easy eggs, yucca..

French Meadow is really great and color codes its menu for vegan and gluten-free things. Pizza Luce has a gluten-free menu too. It's really great living in a city sensitive to dietary needs.

I've noticed that my body no longer craves carbs and in general when I am eating I go for the veggies/protein first and only eat a little carb. The chicken came with mashed potatoes, but I asked for the dish without them because they just didn't seem appealing. And I couldn't even finish my rice with breakfast but devoured the eggs.

I was only going to weigh myself once a week, but I used to obsessively do it numerous times a day so I haven't been able to not weigh myself at all. So I know I'm down 6lbs, sometimes more depending on the day. This is all in a week. Claudio says the first six drop quickly because of water weight.

As far as I know my body is just going to find its "natural" weight and stay there, I won't just completely waste away. Which is good because I don't want to have pancake boobs or lose my rump.
