what are you so afraid of?
yesterday was just a mess.
- i went out for coffee with graham to explain my life's problems. i rather like that i can mention anything, and he's not quick to judge, but there also isn't any tension between us. I could never date him, and he could never date me, and so it works well, when speaking of issues of dating.
- after that i went and got a copy of 'the last kiss', as i thought this movie would be able to give me a good cry (i feel like i need a good cry, and i can't start the waterworks on my own)... watched it last night with Laura and Esther came in later. I couldn't turn off the subtitles, so we taped paper to the tv... as they annoy me. Also, the voices didn't seem to match up to the video, it was slightly off. So one person would say something, but there mouth would be moving at a slightly different time. hated that.
- i got some new work shoes, as the strap from the last one decided to break off... and i tried to sew it back on, but it just wasn't working...
- i started a new book that i got in the mail (and finally picked up)
- the sun is out... and it's nice and blinding (but it says -13, so it must be freezing!)
- i don't have to leave for another half hour for work, but seeing as i'm almost always barely there on time, i should get ready for work
- if it's not busy, then i'll be able to start training in the lab today (so that i can actually develop the pictures!)
- i am loved, i am desirable, and i am beautiful. and i think i'm going to need to know that to get through the day.
- i get to see eric and luuk this week, as my dad is coming out here to see us. Not sure if this is a positive thing or not. Seeing Eric and Luuk will be great, and seeing their team play basketball will be interesting as well.
