transfer, shift change, more sleep

well, i got a transfer and shift change at work. the department i was in hired in too many people, so they were going to move a lot of people anyways, so i requested a department transfer instead of being moved where i don't want to go. my first shift choice was 1st shift, the one i was on. 6th was my second.... sunday - thursday 5pm - 1:30am. no more 3 day weekends, but the shorter days are nice. new deptartment: PICKING! this is what i assumed i was going to be doing when i first started. this is the exact opposite of what i've been doing, which is putting items on shelves. lots more walking, i saw more of the building in 8 hours than i have since i started in october. the best part? i don't set my alarm. go me.
